Hi I'm Olivia, a UK based print designer and artist who loves pattern and the colours blue and orange!
From a young age I have always thrived on creativity. This creative passion has followed me throughout my education, from studying art and textiles at school and then graduating with a BA first class honours in textile design. I have always dreamt of sharing my passion for pattern with others and starting a design business and have decided this is where my heart has settled. Why not spend my days living, breathing and doing what I love most....being creative! I am so excited to be on this journey, come along for the ride!
Inspiration...
My designs are often inspired by the Suffolk coast where I grew up, I find there are just so many elements around the beach to take inspiration from! I have also discovered the beautiful marks, colours and patterns that form on the underside of boats, many of which have become a key source of inspiration for my designs. There is often a splash of pattern in my work, somehow the minute I pick up a pencil or paintbrush my hands just naturally start to put down patterns on the page. I love to work with the colour blue because it reminds me of the calming sea, however you will also notice a groovy pop of orange in my designs which adds a spark of joy and warmth.
I am also a huge dog lover and had to show my appreciation for these loyal and joyful animals in my work with a collection entitled 'Man's best friend'. This collection is available as greetings cards and of course includes a splash of blue and orange. If you would like a commissioned portrait or cards produced of your favourite furry pal please get in touch via the contact page.
